Important Notice: Delay in July Housing Assistance Payments
Dear Landlord Partner,
Due to an unforeseen software issue, the release of July Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) for customers in our rental assistance program has been delayed. These payments appear in the Yardi Landlord Portal as though they have been made, although the funds were not released. Please note that this is only a delay; all scheduled payments will be made.
We are actively working with our software vendor to resolve the issue and expect it to be corrected today. We anticipate that HAP payments will be released tomorrow, July 2, 2026.
While our offices are closed tomorrow in observance of the Independence Day holiday, we will have staff working to resolve this matter and release HAP payments as soon as we are able.
We understand the importance of timely HAP payments and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this matter as quickly as possible. We will continue to keep you updated regarding any further developments.

From HUD: NSPIRE Inspection Standards will replace HQS in October 2026!
HUD has implemented new inspection standards for all programs. An overview of the new standards can be found in HUD's Housing Choice Voucher Landlord Newsletter. In the newsletter you can also find a checklist and the expanded list of 24-hour fail items.
